1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide directly

• All users (Customers, Owners, Agents): name, email address, city, password, OTP for email verification.

• Agents and Owners only: mobile number.

• Agents only: Aadhar card image (captured live or uploaded from gallery) for identity verification.

• Owners only: shop location coordinates, product images captured via camera.

• Agent verification: live image of store owner (captured after visiting the store every time before updating inventory ).

b. Google Sign‑In

   When you sign up using your Google account, we receive your name, email address , We do not access your Google              password.

c. Location data

• Customers: precise real time GPS location (city‑level) to show relevant products and stores, with nearer items displayed first.

• Customers: precise real‑time GPS location while navigating to a shop; this location is shared only with the respective shop owner until navigation ends.

• Owners: shop GPS coordinates captured during onboarding and stored.

• Agents: live location used to show nearby stores and to navigate to them. Agent location is never shown to other users.

d. Camera and photos

• Product images (Owners uses camera to upload product images)

• Aadhar card images (Agents identity)

• Store Owner verification images (Agents proof that they visited that store)
  All images are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3). URLs and associated metadata are stored in MongoDB Atlas.

e. Device permissions

We request access to:

• Notifications (to send updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging)

• Location (as described)

• Camera (for the above purposes)

f. Analytics 

• We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to help us understand how customers and shop owners use the AV app. This includes information such as which screens are viewed, features used, session duration, and general interaction patterns within the app. This data is collected in an aggregated and anonymized form and does not include sensitive personal information such as your name, phone number, or exact location beyond what is necessary for app functionality. We use these insights solely to improve app performance, fix issues, and enhance the overall user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect certain device and usage identifiers as governed by Google's own privacy practices, which can be reviewed at https://policies.google.com/privacy. 

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account.

• Verify agent identity using Aadhar card images (sensitive data, used solely for this purpose).

• Facilitate core features: product uploads, store discovery, navigation, agent store visits.

• Share customer live location with the specific shop owner only during active navigation.

• Display store locations, owner/agent positions on maps (via Ola Maps).

• Process agent withdrawal requests manually (UPI ID sent to us via the app).

• Send push notifications via Firebase.

• Communicate with you for support and account deletion.

• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

• Live customer location is shared with the corresponding shop owner when navigation is active.

• Agent and owner locations are displayed only as described in the app’s functionality.

• Aadhar images are never shared with third parties and are deleted upon account deletion.

• We use third‑party services that may process your data as described below.
